General Information
Foreign Trade Program is a business area of high importance since the times when commercial activities have existed. With the geographical location and characteristics of our country, its economic potential, the rapidly progressing import and export cycle, foreign trade elements are becoming more and more important day by day and reaching a point that cannot be ignored. In order to support foreign trade, the sector needs highly equipped employees. For this purpose, the Foreign Trade Program at our university plans to produce highly qualified graduates who can find a wide range of job opportunities. Our graduates will be able to work at various levels of public institutions and private enterprises. In addition, they will be able to find employment opportunities with their graduate education, which they can continue by completing their undergraduate education with vertical transfer. The professional and personal development of our students is supported in many ways through exchange programs, projects, social, cultural and academic activities offered within our university.
Aim of the Program
Students who successfully complete the program will have knowledge and skills at the associate degree level, have a command of professional terminology and adapt to current foreign trade activities.
Admission Requirements
To have a high school diploma and to obtain sufficient points from the relevant field from the Undergraduate Placement Exam conducted by the Center for Measurement, Selection and Placement (ÖSYM)
Graduation Requirements
In order to graduate, students must successfully complete all courses in the program (equivalent to 120 ECTS in total), besides not only minimum of 2.00 out of 4.00 weighted grade point average must be obtained but also complete 40-days professional internship. Graduates will be awarded with short cycle diploma.
Employment Opportunities
Graduated students of our department; it is possible to work in the import-export, logistics, transportation, customs services, production departments of the companies or establish their own company. In addition to that, it is possible to be employed by public institutions such as the Ministry of Commerce, the Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure, the Ministry of Industry and Technology.

Our students who want to continue their education enter the DGS exam held by ÖSYM, Banking, Labor Economics and Industrial Relations, Economics, Business Administration, Business Management, Logistics, Capital Markets, Political Science and International Relations, International Relations, International Business and Trade, International It has the opportunity to switch to Trade and Logistics and many more undergraduate programs.
