A technical excursion was organized to Mersin Free Zone with the participation of the students of the Faculty of Applied Sciences, Department of International Trade and Logistics, Department of Customs Management and Vocational School, Department of Foreign Trade. Assoc. Prof. Dr. Sami Süygün and Research Assistant Safa Kocademir accompanied the students on the excursion. After the presentation made by Edvar Mum, General Manager of Mersin Free Zone Founder and Operator Inc. in MESBAŞ service building, the Free Zone area was visited. After the on-site information about the ongoing operations, HDMI Steel Pipe Company, one of the exporter companies operating in the region, was also visited. The excursion ended after the information given by the company officials.
