A technical excursion to Mersin Model Factory and Innovation Center was organized with the participation of 2nd year students of the Department of Foreign Trade. Assoc. Prof. Ata KAHVECİ accompanied the students on the trip. Students had the chance to experience on site how the theoretical knowledge they received within the scope of “Industry 4.0 and Foreign Trade” and “Entrepreneurship and Innovation” courses are applied in a competence center such as the Model Factory, which serves many industrial organizations. After the presentation by the officials of Mersin Model Factory and Innovation Center, a field visit was made under the guidance of the officials. The excursion ended after the on-site information about the ongoing operations.
